It was always about the Journey - Ithaka

As you set out for Ithaka
hope the voyage is a long one,
full of adventure, full of discovery.
Laistrygonians and Cyclops,
angry Poseidon—don’t be afraid of them:
you’ll never find things like that on your way
as long as you keep your thoughts raised high,
as long as a rare excitement
stirs your spirit and your body.
Laistrygonians and Cyclops,
wild Poseidon—you won’t encounter them
unless you bring them along inside your soul,
unless your soul sets them up in front of you.

Hope the voyage is a long one.
May there be many a summer morning when,
with what pleasure, what joy,
you come into harbors seen for the first time;
may you stop at Phoenician trading stations
to buy fine things,
mother of pearl and coral, amber and ebony,
sensual perfume of every kind—
as many sensual perfumes as you can;
and may you visit many Egyptian cities
to gather stores of knowledge from their scholars.

Keep Ithaka always in your mind.
Arriving there is what you are destined for.
But do not hurry the journey at all.
Better if it lasts for years,
so you are old by the time you reach the island,
wealthy with all you have gained on the way,
not expecting Ithaka to make you rich.

Ithaka gave you the marvelous journey.
Without her you would not have set out.
She has nothing left to give you now.

And if you find her poor, Ithaka won’t have fooled you.
Wise as you will have become, so full of experience,
you will have understood by then what these Ithakas mean.

On Globalization and NeoColonialism....Games of Power

It is funny how people can change over the years...U.S.A. in hand with Europe were expanding their economical empires by simple rules of their precious Free Market...Huge companies were able to establish their new departments in various 3rd world countries achieving the highest products made/labour cost rate possible. It was a paradise for them, taking advantage the needs of the poor people and paying them less than 1 euro or dollar per day...Now they are the same countries , the same companies which rule these countries that put pressure on China and the other developing countries to overestimate their currency .That means that the salaries will raise so there will be no more cheap labour for them...So Why do they do it?? Because now, these countries have reached a point that they can make their own products. While the chinese(for example) currency is low as it is today, the chinese products have no rival in the free market world! They are way cheaper than the american or european ones! Furthermore, another drawback exists that the Big Economical Heads could not foresee... China is a HUGE market but with the current currency ,chinese people can not afford buying ameri-euro products because they cost a lot for them! So the big guns are on the table now...this can not continue any longer....they lost a fight , but they have to win the war by making China and all the other countries their territories as they have done with the rest of the world...and if they need help , their own created organisms (IMF,World Bank,E.U. ,etc ) will do the job for them...

Now run to your closest McDonalds and devour your BigMac , saying your favourite quote
''What can I do?It is a #@$% up world...''
